Membership to the Savannah Area Flute Association (SAFA)
Membership to SAFA is open to flutists of all ages and abilities. There are two levels of membership: students and adults. A student is identified as any person under the age of 18 or those attending school up through the undergraduate level. All other persons are identified as adults.
There are many benefits to being a member of SAFA! Members can join the flute choir, get access to all SAFA events for free, free advertising in the SAFA newsletter, advance notice of upcoming events and opportunities, and eligibility to participate in any future competitions hosted by SAFA.
Year: $60
Starting in spring: $40
Student: $25
Dues help fund flute performances and workshops, printing programs, music education endeavors, the purchase of sheet music, and other normal operating expenses.

Financial Assistance
In order to allow all flutists join the SAFA, those with severe financial difficulties can have their membership fee waived. You may select this option on the membership form.
SAFA also occasionally has a limited number of private flute lesson scholarships available. Please contact savareaflute@gmail.com for more information.
If you need an instrument, SAFA has a limited number of student flutes that can be borrowed between August and May. Please contact savareaflute@gmail.com to apply.
